J.T. Holt, CEO
J.T. Holt a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Economics joined Land Loan Specialists.com in 2008. After graduation JT spent 10 years in the Farm Credit System and left his position as Vice President to become CEO of Land Loan Specialists.com. His experience in agricultural lending includes managing a loan portfolio in excess of $35 million and 375 accounts, managing a participation loan portfolio, appraisals of both agricultural real estate and chattels, credit analysis, and working with individuals from the CEO of a Fortune 500 company to the family farmer.
J.T. Holt has joined Land Loan Specialists.com with one goal in mind: “Provide competitive rates and terms with service second to none. J.T. enjoys the opportunity to get away from the office and work cattle, build fence, go hunting, do some fishing, and spend time in the outdoors with his family. JT along with his wife, Mindy and daughter Maddie own a 160 acres in NW Oklahoma and also rent a couple of other pastures where he maintains a small cow/calf operation. J.T.’s past experience growing up around the cattle business includes spending time on his grandfather’s ranch in Eastern Oklahoma, working at Oklahoma National Stockyards (The largest feeder cattle market in the world!), working for Professional Animal Health. He also had completed an internship in college with Pig Improvement Company (PIC) and has a basic understanding of the commercial sow farm.
Mindy works for Waynoka Public Schools as a 5th grade elementary teacher shaping the minds of our youth. J.T. is also a member of the Kingfisher Masonic Lodge #52 where he served as secretary of the lodge for three years and currently leads his Sunday School class at First Baptist Church, Waynoka.
Kory W. Unruh, Vice-President
Kory W. Unruh graduated from Tabor College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Education and General Science. He joined Land Loan Specialists.com in May of 2007. Upon graduation, Kory spent seven years in education and coaching. Included within this time and many years prior, Kory helped operate his family farm and ranch in Southwest Kansas. He was born and raised on this farm which included wheat, corn, soybean, sorghum, and cattle production. Kory decided to join Land loan specialists as a means to get more heavily involved in the agricultural world full time. He finds helping clients achieve their dream of owning land for the first time, continuing to expand their operation, or refinancing existing loans for substantial savings very fulfilling.
Since joining Land Loan Specialists.com in 2007, Kory has developed a loan portfolio in excess of $7 million. He is personally involved in customer relations, credit analysis and appraisal ordering for all of his clients. Kory’s reason to join Land Loan Specialists compared to other land lenders is the common desire for each of their clients to be provided the best rate and terms available for land with the personal service they deserve.
During Kory’s time away from work, he loves to golf, hunt, play basketball, and watch any major sporting event available. Most importantly, Kory enjoys spending time with his wonderful family. Kory and his wife Dawn have two children, Alison and Ian. Dawn is a Registered Nurse at Fairview Regional Medical Center. The couple is also active members of the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church. Here, Kory is a member of the Worship Team and assists with Sunday school teaching when needed. Kory is also a board member for the Fairview Country Club Association.
Melanie Haworth, Title and Closing Specialist
Melanie Haworth is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a background in Technical Writing. She currently resides in Fairview, Oklahoma with her husband Timothy Haworth, Assistant District Attorney for Major County. Melanie serves as the title and closing specialist for Land Loan Specialists.com.
